Careers | NHR-297, Laser/Router Operator, 2nd Shift
The Laser/Router Operator is responsible for knowledge of laser and router function and capabilities of the various machines. Thorough knowledge of materials (ferrous and non-ferrous metals, acrylics and plastics) is essential. The ability to understand engineering drawings and blueprints to determine materials requirements and task sequences is a must. You should be able to verify conformance of work pieces to specifications using squares, rulers, and measuring tapes, layout and examine stock pieces to be processed to ensure that specifications are met. Move parts into position, manually or with hoists or cranes. Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs. Manage appropriate equipment Maintenance Checklists and maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
MRP Software: FileMaker; Microsoft Office Suite; CAD Software: AutoCAD, EnRoute, Bystronics a plus. Education: High School, Vocational School; Experience & Job Training: On-the-job experience. |
