Perforated Metal Sheet Finishes & Inventory
The perforating process is performed via a stamping process; during this process several tons of force are applied to the sheet metal to create each hole or series of holes. As a result, the sheet metal incurs significant stress. This heavy stress diminishes the ability of the paint to adhere to the sheet metal. Therefore, to ensure proper film adhesion, the finishes of perforated materials should always be coated after the perforating process has been completed. Any perforated product that is pre-painted is not warranted by the paint resin manufacturer.
As an applicator of PPG paints, Bunting is able to ensure that all of its perforated materials are painted after the perforation process has been completed. This means that the paint resin manufacturers warranty is not voided. Below is a list of our finishes and inventory of perforated metal sheets.
