MGM National HarborWashington D.C.MGM Casino committed to an initial budget of $925 million to construct the MGM National Harbor Casino.
On June 24, 2015 MGM selected Maryland based General Contractor Whiting-Turner to be the prime contractor. Gamma was selected to deliver the curtain wall and Crystal Steel was selected to provide the ornamental metal. The contractors were to deliver the wall system on a deisgn-assist basis with a compressed schedule. In order to achieve their accelerated schedule Gamma and Crystal Steel turned to Bunting to provide aluminum back pans, metal panels, copings, trim, and the perforated image podium wall panel package shown here. Bunting's integrated approach to engineering, fabrication, and coatings allowed the contractors to achieve the compressed schedule at their original costs without sacrificing the design intent or quality. |
